Welcome to Uddingston Community Sport Hub

Uddingston Community Sport HubPart of the lasting legacy from the Commonwealth Games, Community Sport Hubs are sportscotland’s contribution to the Scottish Government’s 2014 legacy plan. In a joint partnership with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, the Hub aims are to increase the number of people of all ages participating in sport and physical activity in local communities across Scotland. They also aim to provide information, support and advice on a wide range of sports and physical activities. This will encourage and make it easier for local people to get involved and engage in a more active and healthier lifestyle.

Uddingston Community Sport Hub is based at Uddingston Grammar School. The Hub was established in June 2011 and currently has 9 clubs engaged with the hub.

The clubs involved include; hockey, rugby, tae kwon do, football, gymnastics, badminton, tennis, netball and activities for seniors. To find out more about the clubs then please go to our clubs links page.
